Not only was your question answered, it was elaborated on. So, that's a positive.

Are you in the U.S.? If so, your C43 is going to be built in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

That's why No European Delivery for Sedan. Conver and Coupe are eligible.

Missing suspension part is critical for custom order.

Yes...and it was addressed promptly and to my satisfaction, hence the reason I'm about to own my third W205. **** happens, the true test of a business is how they handle problems as they arise and Mercedes Benz (and the selling dealer) exceeded my expectations.

And as I mentioned my second W205 (US built) was flawless...

Agreed. Also "Capt Slo" Ive read up on plenty of other users having issues with the Bama built C43 sedans. Call me crazy, but Id like the car I fully optioned out and will be paying tons of money for to be built like a tank and to come from the same Country that the brand is based out of. I understand globalization and driving costs down is what has made Mercedes set up various plants across the globe, but I will always have an underlying bias against American built cars. That being said, Im glad the C43 coupe is built in Germany and hopefully it will have the same quality of Merc's Ive driven in the past.

Our C43 will be a cabrio, so it seems from this thread that it will be a German build. We live in TN.

I removed several posts after the point the thread appeared to be derailed. It is purely a subjective guess, I probably missed some that should have been deleted and a few that should not, sorry.

Please keep you comments on topic and do not use to personal insults to argue your point. Take the politics to the Off Topic Political forum. Thank you.

Bob

So Bob, I totally agree but why is there even an off topic political post location anyway, I'm all about free speech but this site is not the place for it, if it doesn't relate to MB, take it somewhere else.

Hi,

Thank you for the question.

I feel it is part of being a community to allow discussion and debate on topics other than automotive.

On one hand no one has to visit the political forum as it is separate from the Off Topic forum. On the other hand, not to a point where it is embarrassing to the community. We should review its place in light of today's political climate and changing culture. Please open a new thread in the Feedback forum to ask how the community feels about the topic.

Bob
