Make all the difference!
Hated the OEM pins so got a set of four for less than a fiver delivered.
Easy to swap over and much more pleasing to the eye!

I did the same too, the original plastic ones are large and ugly. I am surprised this isnt standard in the AMG cars.
Love your red seat belts.

I used the knock off AMG metal pins from JBSPEED on my 2017 C300 coupe. When I traded it in on the C43 coupe, I removed them hoping to use them on the new car. What I noticed that it was difficult to remove them and when I did, it messed up the stock pin (the metal inner pin that accepts the plastic or aftermarket pin cover. It damaged both of the metal inner pins and now the OEM plastic lock pins did not line up properly (That was the c300 I traded in) So when I got my C43 coupe I decided to not touch the lock pins and leave it stock. Have you guys experienced taking them off? Be careful as I was not happy how they removed and permanently messed up the stock pin.

I'm sorry, but maybe it is just me.
Who the eff looks at the door pins? Seriously? not once in the 2 years I've owned my car have I thought I needed these. In fact not once have I even LOOKED at these.
If you bought this, good for you. Each to their own.. everyone has their likes an dislikes. I am the same way. But to me, this is just off the radar... spending money to replace a door pin that NOBODY will ever even notice for the life of the car.... I'm sorry. It is a ****ing DOOR PIN.. COME ON.. If you want to put money into your car, spend your money on more HP or exhaust or something somebody will actually notice! Whatever...

The stock doorpin just unscrewed and there is a metal thread inside which this new one just screwed on to. No inserts or anything else.
Cannot see swapping out would be an issue but for £5 for four (I only used two!) and two mins of my time I think they make a difference.
people who criticise it was one thing I noticed on the E class courtesy car I had and for the sake of the same price as a pint why not!
Hardly going to to be able to buy an exhaust or anything else with that money plus it’s a 19 C43 so has the PE exhaust and just shy of 400bhp so little aesthetic touches are all I want to do!

With that said, if you intend on keeping the car for a while its worth the small price. If you change your car every 2-3 years its a waste of money.

I love the door pins, Im glad I replaced the cheap black plastic OEM pins. Its one of those situations that once you have them you are glad you removed the old ones.

Well I find the aftermarket AMG buttons do give an overall polished feel to the interior of the cabin. I guess its the attention to detail that some notice and some dont.
Interestingly I have had only girls mention them when in my car, never guys.

I'm not hating on anyone wanting to "customize" their car but I wonder why door pins are even still a thing with Mercedes??? There's not a lot of cars that come to mind these days that still have door pins.

Here is one for some posters. Are there posters out there that have Mercedes Tire Valve Caps and not the plastic ones while still keeping the plastic door pins ? I would find it ironic that they would change the tire valve caps and not the door pins.

I’ve been wanting to get the door pins but, I keep on forgetting. Maybe, with all these door pins talk i’ll finally remember.

Me, me, me! I have the metal tire valve caps! My wife even ordered them for me. The plastic caps stayed with the stock wheels ready for lease return. I’m actually waiting for her to notice the door pins, hahaha!

If youre careful where you leave and park your car you should be ok.

Ive made the bold decision to add nitrous to my C43.
Watch out now, its a real conversation starter when it lights up in the evenings with the girls, the occasional uninformed mate that doesnt know much about cars.
