JB4 installed.....UMMMMM WOW
Finally got my JB4 installed and DL the app!
I have had 2 tunes prior to this one, the Vrtuned box and the JB1, and the JB4 is ALOT more powerful than both.
Install was very easy after finding a video on it on youtube
and DL the instructions http://www.burgertuning.com/instruct...400_stage1.pdf .
Running the wire was not as hard as I thought and the app that controls the JB4 is very easy to use.
I plan on running the stock map 2 for about a week to do some logs then start messing with E85 and map 6.
If anyone has any questions or advice please don't hesitate to PM me I will help with anything I can. I have installed 3 tunes now so I feel pretty comfortable under the hood.
Next up is MST Intake!

I'm on the fence with a JB1 or JB4 but had a question on the different maps. Are maps 1 & 2 the same for both JB models? I think it's 4psi and 6psi over stock right? I don't plan on running custom tunes or higher octane that often. It's a daily driver but would like to have the added power from time to time.
Also for 2019 C43's is it still 4 and 6 psi over what the stock is set at? Thanks!

It says differences between Jb1 and jb4.
Basically jb4 will make more power
I am not sure on 19s but BMS will see this

Plus, you can always sell it down the line and always make something back.

I am going to keep a close eye on this thread. I am still running Map 0, and like you, haven't connected the green wire. Hesitant, but might go ahead when I put on my MST. I bought some gold reflect foil for the panels and pipes to hopefully get temps down futher.. I don't think we have E85 here (I could be wrong) but there are some higher RON (100 and up) fuels. Are you on the WhatsApp? If so, who are you?

Yes I am I have seen u on there I am Danny on there
Good idea on reflect tape I actually saw that on a supra once.
According to user on what's app he did not see any heat soak when car was driving but did notice Temps increase when in traffic or idiling for long periods.
I have been watching iat on the jb4 and have noticed the same with stock air box

Jb4
Hi, I had a jb4 installed on a 2016 c300 and it made my engine lag and gave me the CEL a couple of times.. the engine felt weird afterwards and had to remove the module. I'm afraid it might do the same to my 2017 C43. Any past history like that?
That's why I was once considering a software tune like eurocharged or something...
Your input would be highly appreciated!
TIA!

Also, I'm in Canada so I can use the passive delete option to eliminate the CEL but is that something I do once the first time, after it registers?

Love the Jb4. I run a 30% mix of e85 with 93 and run map3 daily with about 10k on it so far. No issues at all. I've run a best of 11.7 at 118mph with no other mods on my 2018 c43 sedan. Haven't hooked up the green wire can anyone explain the additional benefit?

Just added the MST intake tonight. Straight forward instal.
car feel more responsive and aggressive shifting and sound in S+.
but it also threw an engine light. I’m told this is common and will clear on its own.

anyone else have bluetooth connectivity issues with their JB4? after like 3 weeks of having mine installed it would just lose connectivity randomly...i'm exchanging it through the vendor I bought it from. Feel pretty strongly that it is the signal, says its weak where you go to update the firmware.
