16 C450, 18 Durango RT Blacktop package
Picked up my first MB

Got a C450 about 3 weeks ago and have been happy thus far. It’s a CPO with 30k miles, loaded with all the options. I was specifically searching for one with the Designo package, all brown leather on a white car or black car with white/black seating combo. Ended up kicking out and found my dream C450.

All brakes and rotors, including 3 tires were replaced by MB in Barrington, in addition to all the other standard services performed on a CPO. Car runs quick, smooth, and in Sport + it certainly doesn’t stop to amuse me when punching it.

Waited for the rain to stop here in Chicago to finally spend a few days doing my own detail at home. I used my porter cable orbital polisher, then I waxed the car and did a synthetic sealant to bring out a more lustrous shine. The inside was wiped down and I used a leather cleaner and conditioner to make the already new looking seats somehow even cleaner.

Overall great car and looking forward to being a part of this community.

After the detail, nice mirror-like reflection of the scenery above the car.

Spent a couple hours detailing the wheels and removing brake dust. No one will wash your car like how you will if you’re a perfectionist I learned awhile back.

5% tint all around with ceramic 50% on the whole windshield. I like a dark ride at night and my privacy.

I love this interior, I always feel welcomed by a butler when getting in.

I need to get a black plastic spray to make the top of the rear diffuser shine better, that’s on my to do this week.

C450 AMG
Congrats!

The C450 is a blast to drive. I just picked one up in Dallas a month ago. My first mb too. I’ve had Japanese cars for 30 years. The mb puts a smile on my face. Enjoy it!!
