C450 Very uneven pad wear rear brakes

Got the check pad wear notice! Pulled tires to find fronts are fine. Rear pads uneven wear. Outside depth is 10 and inner at 4. Same issue on both sides of rear.

Is this typical for AMG cars? I challenged dealer on this and they said rear brakes always wear twice as fast on the inside.

i have been changing brakes for 25 years and have only run into this when caliper pistons were stuck.

Has anyone else run into this on their c450/43??

i've had my c450 rears go first and i hear that's common for this platform, but i didn't notice any uneven wear of the pads or rotors.

Thanks for info. I am going to push dealership to replace calipers. I bought the car last July and it was certified. I have only put 6,100 miles on car. They have records showing brakes were 12 when certified. I don’t track or abuse my brakes. Even if I did, they should not wear uneven.

Yes, passenger side. Did your rear brake pads have uneven wear? My inboard pads are 50 percent more worn than the outboard pads.
