Argh ! Brake dust is insane w/ this car !
Is it just me or brake dust is insane with C43s ? For the past week and a half I was using the brakes very lightly because of this issue but again my rims went from silver to black at this point ........
Is there some type of sealant or tire wax I can put on the rims so I don't have to wash them every week ?

Nothing will eliminate it unless you change the pads.
all MB cars have the problem and the heavier the car, the faster it is driven, the more brake dust you get. You do get used to cleaning the inside of the rims every 2 weeks and it doesn't take that long to do.

BMW has this problem as well, and the only way around it is using different pads as you said. When I was replacing my old BMW's pads I used a different type (non OEM) and that fixed the dust problem without any performance sacrifice.

Well you have a choice: dusty pads or worn discs. The reason why they are so dusty is because they are relatively “soft”. That means the pads wear faster but the discs last much longer. You can just replace them with “sportspads” which are harder and therefore less dusty - but then you’ll be spending more on discs instead.

Semi metallic pads are noisy and produce tonnes of dust. Just need to switch to ceramic pads. Like one from Rockauto https://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/...brake+pad,1684

Just changed my OEM pads for ceramic about a month ago. Just washed my wheels and relished in the fact that it saved about 75% of the effort. I’m sold, used to take me longer to wash my wheels than it did the car. No appreciable difference in stopping and dead silent.

Sonax won't prevent brake dust but it is fantastic for cleaning brake dust. I don't have my C43 yet to test it but I love it for my Porsche wheels.

Sorry if this shows up twice. Posted this a bit ago and didn't see it come through.
Armor All makes a product, used to be called "wheel protectant" now I think it is renamed to Outlast or something. It works really well to repel brake dust as well as to make whatever dust stay easy to wash off. The real problem is that it doesn't last very long. Maybe a couple of washes or about 3 weeks and you need to apply it to a clean wheel, so you end up washing them every 3 weeks or so anyway. It at least will make the wheel look better between washes.

Best way to make it easier to clean is to have your wheels ceramic coated. Once that is done you'll be able to hose off the wheels and dust will fall right off.
