Thinking about buying this. Want opinions if I should even consider a C450 now...

Hey everyone. I found a C450 that I love. The color combination is super unique but I want opinions on the price (dealer is not willing to negotiate at all) and whether or not I should even consider a C450 at this point or just start looking at C43's. Any and all suggestions are welcome!

If finances allow. Get a new c43. If not enjoy what you can afford.

That is still too high IMO. I bought my 450 with half the miles (7631) with the same options except parktronic and paid 40k without T&L last Aug. Although I didnt buy it CPO, the selling dealer on my request took it to Thousand Oaks, CA (right down the street) MB and had a PPI done and it was in perfect shape. However, if you like it, then get it

That'd be a great deal for a 43 - so so for 450. Alas, stuff is worth whatever people are willing to pay. You do you!

I wouldn't, if for no other reason than the factory warranty expiring soon. I would never touch a Benz out of warranty, but that is just me. A couple things go wrong, you might end up paying a solid fraction of what you paid for the car in the first place.

I think CPO makes a very significant difference and can't just be replaced with a PPI. Dealers miss stuff during PPI all the time; there was a guy who bought a CPO Audi and kept having problems; turned out the Audi was heavily modified including aggressive tuning which was missed during PPI needed for CPO. Dealer bought the car back.

So true! Your absolutely correct. I couldnt find a local car so I went down to SoCal to get it. Therefore I had to trust the eyes of a MB technician to do the work. I spoke with the technician at length and asked all the typical questions about service and what not. The leasee did take it in on normal oil changes and bought the pre-paid maintenance. Knowing I had almost 2 years left on warranty and low mileage, it was money well spent. So far it has been nothing but trouble free.

The palladium/cranberry red combo turns heads and gets lots of compliments.
