C43 vs c63 ride height

Hi guys, just wondering whether there is a difference in ride height between c43 and c63, specifically, for the estate?

If so, does anyone know the differences and whether the suspension components are interchangeable. Ie will c63 springs fit in c43.

Thanks

Ben.

not sure what you're getting at here. it's a v8 vs v6 and the spring rates would surely be different if not more. ie. fitting c63 springs to a c43 will not result in c63 ride height or comfort.

Completely different suspension setup and geometry, so parts are not interchangable. The C63 also has flared wheel arches and wider track, and no, it isn’tjust a set of spacers.

word of advise: If you want to lower the car, be sure to do it properly. Lots of people have complained about uneven tire wear, but often, it is down to them having installed lowering springs. And since the car has a cambered suspension setup, just installing lowering springs instead of a fully adjustable suspension means you mess with the geometry causing the car to lean on the inside of the tire, negatively affecting handling and tire wear.

the c63 and c43 actually share a majority of the rear and front suspension. everything is the same except for the springs and the knuckle. but you can not swap 63 springs as they are made for the heavier car. they should be around the same height from the factory. the difference in handling attributes to the wider track and wider tires on the c63. after looking up the anti roll bar, the c63 has a different roll bar as well. once again, most likely to compensate for extra weight.

That's not correct at all.
The front suspension components and steering ARE shared in the C43 and 63.
Only the Coupe has a wider track .

there could be at least a slight difference because of knuckle and brake rotor thickness - albeit marginal
