Rear Flics for W205 AMG Review!

I bought the flics at the link below. I couldn't believe Mercedes wanted $300 for the oem ones. I am usually a 100% oem guy but could not justify $300 for plastic pieces. so i took a chance on this company from california. they seem to be 3d printed but the finish is amazing. maybe still from china or asia at the end of the day but the quality was awesome. And the best part is they clip in to oem mounting instead of drilling or sticking on with 3m tape. 10 minutes to install! and could remove easily too.

I am very happy with them! rear end looks thick for a sedan.

Here you go: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Black-Bumpe...kAAOSwiyBc46sL

Edit: Scratch that... I've dealt with Mars Performance before but the price difference is ridiculous!!!

Was it difficult to remove the old ones, and do you think it will be difficult to swap back to the originals? I’ve been thinking about doing this but I’m leasing and don’t want to break the original or the OEM mounting clips. I heard they require a bit of force to remove which always makes me nervous if I don’t know exactly what I’m doing.

If there as high quality as Star says (a forum contributor whose opinion I genuinely trust), turning in your lease with these still installed will not be an issue. Especially since they're factory option, and a minuscule one at that.

I have the same ones too. Originally bought the OEM ones but that install was ridiculous for such a small part. Very happy with these

Try this again... I found some on Amazon. I grabbed the last set though but there's one more set for the coupe on Ebay: https://www.ebay.com/itm/FOR-2017-19...-/202550480134

Notwithstanding my better judgment, I ordered the rear flicks from the link above for my c43 coupe. HUGE mistake.

For starters, the finish on the inside (visible) of the flick was splattered with an inconsistent finish and there was rough plastic as well. While that could be fixed, the fitment was terrible which cannot be fixed.

Not an expensive loss, but figured I would inform people that is product is crap quality.

did you buy from bulbxpert? or that other link someone posted from mars performance? mine are from bulbxpert and are great. it does matter who you buy from as i am sure they all do different things to cut corners to reduce cost. maybe there is not a good coupe solution yet.

2019 "should" have same bumper as prefacelifts. I have a 2017. I actually retrofitted the facelift diffuser to my 2017. my guess is they would work for 2019.

hmm, i am not sure why the coupe would be different than sedan. maybe you got a bad example? or a newer/older batch? maybe ask for a different set from them.

Most aftermarket companies seem to struggle with the rear flicks for the coupe (or they just resell the same sh**).

I've bought about 4 sets all from different sources, none fitted properly.

I installed the ones Star4life linked to in the OP on my C450. They are very tight, but once they click into place fitment is perfect. These look great and I'm glad I bought them. I'm sorry to hear that the versions for the coupe aren't ready for prime time.

The coupe rear flicks are different from the sedan in very minor measurements. Ask for flicks specific for the coupe. They do make them. So, if the seller tell u it's the same, don't buy from him.

The ones I purchased were from the recommended seller and specifically marketed being for the coupe.

Do you have any pics of the these? Notably the pictures that show the defective areas of the flics.

The
rear flics of the coupé are different from those of the sedan. Are the bumpers of the coupé c43 and c63 the same?
no one installed them anymore??

Are those the right ones for a C43 coupe?
