Coupling flash tunes with JB4
#26
You're so bent on trying to prove your point by bringing up online posts about said product that has actual proof (video, graphs, dragy, etc) of its performance lmfao, as do other brands.
We get it- you're gonna go with EC 😂
*P.S that same logic you applied right there can be made with almost any brand... it's nothing new

I was actually responding to another member who was interested in what I'd heard as it pertains to AMR, I was simply providing information. Maybe give this thread another read, or find another thread to contribute nothing to.

Take a deep breath there buddy, I wouldn't want to have to turn the flame on

If the answer is yes, please PM me the details of your poor customer service experience. If the answer is no, then kindly stop spreading hear say. Thank you.

The BMS is a tuning tool compatible with the factory flash and all aftermarket flash maps. It can do as much or as little as you want.
With aftermarket flash tunes the first step is to log map0 with JB4 disabled, and post it or send it in, so we can see where improvements might be made for your specific application/fuel!

Hey BMS, I got the Jb4 installed on top of the AMR tune, however, when connected via BT on my phone, every gauge on the display works fine except the gear gauge, it stays at 0 and this also reflects in the logs as well. Any way to fix this? I was running a map 1 for a couple runs (to see if there was a difference, and oh boy there was) but I switched back until I get some map 0 logs.

I had the AMR tune in place prior to the installation of JB4, I was just wondering whether if it had to do with a bad installation (all other gauges work) or if it would be a problem if the Gear sensor is always at 0 when doing gear specific boost values

Welp, having the stage 1 tune form AMR's COMPORT (93 octane) coupled with the Jb4 (I ran map 2 with specific settings given to me by BMS staff) and WOOOW. (oh and MST intakes)
I have never seen such fast shifts and such a hard 2nd gear pull... I'm rarely even hitting close to 20psi, but I do plan on only switching this on when someone wants the smoke
Using JB4 logs, once of my logs recorded a 3.2 0-60, not going to say that's completely accurate but mid 3s for 0-60 seems like what it's hitting consistently, need to dragy this up soon.

I'm going to run some on map 0 when conditions are similar to the one I did with map 2 on (temp heat back up again today)

@DIVINE AMG dawg ion like amr or eurocharged equally I just have my best interests for my car straight the **** up and best interests for all the other 43 owners out here, I was one of the first to even mess w this platform I hope you know that, been here since The jb1 days not even jb4 😂 but got a jb4 once they announced and dropped it for the C43 then ditched the jb4 for a proper tune then went from a 2018 43 to a 2019 43 cause of some bs so Ive seen both pre face lift and face lift stock and tuned and etc

That's why I opened this thread to see people's experiences with a generic tune and a jb4. When I got the JB4 I didn't just throw it on map 2 and call it day, I emailed BMS with logs containing various settings and they ended up sending me their recommendation and saying that I should be fine running a map 2 with the settings they gave me. Now I'm not saying that that's them saying what I'm doing is great for the motor, but even looking at the logs myself I don't see it hitting over 20 psi at all (with map 2).

Jb4 hahahaha
I remember the days when C43TT didnt have a tune I remember getting a jb4 and it would be better then tunes from amr or anybody really back in 2018 hahaha, Ive been map 5/6 gang gang e30 demon from time got tired of the performance barriers so I ditched it in 2019 and got a tune after I found out you need a boost controller to get max power out of facelift only w my pre facelift it didnt need the boost controller attachment

Besides the power boost, I love AMR's burble aspect of their tune and the control/logging of the JB4. being able to also remove ~150 hp relatively quickly is a plus too.

Here are my Dragy times:
Tune alone:
1/4: 11.9@117.05mph
100-200km/h: 9.4
Stacking JB4 on Map1:
1/4: 11.6@119.32mph
100-200km/h: 8.9
I daily on Map0.

I do 11.5 atm w just a tune on a facelift 19 no stacking but good not bad for amr or generic tune, impressive just keep it on map 0 check for any inconsistencies in the power band/curve

If I had the rv3.1 I definitely wouldn't be looking to move anything past a map 0.

I would love to post my quarter mile but Id rather do it when I hit the track and get a real drag slip cause dragy sometimes shows 11.49 on good days, good temp but most of the times its 11.5. Lemme get better tires and il get 11.4 flat il post the quarter mile slip meanwhile enjoy my dyno numbers

I'm stacking JB4 on top of my generic German tune as well. Also went back and forth with Terry/BMS on which map to use after his review of the logs. Map1 gave me the best results on the available pump gas I have here. (93oct)
