So they were not able to get it to align correctly? Are you going to take it off and try to modify it? Mine is angled up as well. Doesnt distort any images, but the lines do rise. I was thinking of taking it apart and shimming the camera down a tad if i am able. Let me know if you do, or i will let you know if i do and what can or cant be done.

I read a few forums before deciding on the CKS Performance grille and most didn't have issues, but I did not factor in that my car is a coupe.
My mechanic said shimming or modifying the camera is a bad idea - snow or water might build up in the camera mount and affect electrical issues in the long term. Let me know if it's successful for you! GL

It had nothing to do with alignment, the grille fitted perfectly. It was the design of the grille itself, especially the front camera, and CKS Performance should have changed the design before selling them on their website.

Thanks. I think what he meant was if he did any modification, there is a slight chance he might F up and mess up the front camera. I guess he didn't want any liability...
I'm planning to go to a different mechanic and get their opinion on this as well, but I might do this when Spring/Summer comes. Toronto weather is no joke.

Not sure what your mechanic means by shimming might build up with snow or water and affect electrical issues. The camera itself is sealed and the connector is exposed regardless. But ill let you know. I did try moving the camera around where it is mounted and to validate your post, there is no wiggle room. Im gonna give it a shot anyway and will update.
Any updates?

Have the same problem and I actually bought mine from The Blink mentioned at the beginning, the grill came with same camera problem you guys mentioned, I guess they all have the camera issue, now, I have to say; I had the grill installed by The Blink as part of the purchasing deal and they ****ed up my Diamond grill, they scratched the hell out of it and when I contacted them to get answers for their ****ty job they said that never happened to them before so long story short, stay away from The Blink and his installers.

And that's the reason why I didn't end up going to The Blink to do the installation. I found them on Instagram through pumped Ads but after following their account, watching their IG stories, and researching the company on Google, nothing seems right.
I went with NT Auto Shop and their service was better than average. They have a name in the auto industry and they hold car meets (mainly for the Chinese demographic), so I trust them over The Blink.
Anyway, my grill was installed properly, nothing loose or scratch. I'll also be installing my quad exhaust tip rear diffuser with them once it arrives from CKS Perf.

I was finally able to remove the star from the middle of the grill which was surprising easy after ordering a new and see how it all works.
