My 7 year old battery (stock Mercedez OEM battery) is ready to give up the ghost - getting the "Stop Vehicle: Leave Engine Running" alert constantly - within 30 seconds of startup.

Bought a replacement Interstate H6 AGM-type battery at Costco. It has a rating of 760 CCAs versus the OEM battery with has a 800 CCA rating.

I noticed the battery is physically a bit smaller.

Should I be worried about this at all? The dealer wanted nearly $500 to replace the battery which I laughed at.

I just did it last week, used H6 AGM battery as H7 was not available at local Costco. Bit smaller but no issue replacing. No issue disconnecting and reconnecting new battery.

Just did it last weekend, Installed H6 AGM battery from Costco (H7 was not available and would fit perfectly) , H^ is a bit smaller. No issue installing (disconnected, reconnected) and securing it.
