W205 C43 AMG catless

Hello I am new to the forum I have a W205C 43 AMG. My car is currently Catless I live in Georgia I recently purchased defoulers, But for some reason my check engine light will not go off. I was told that maybe the diameter on the defouler is too large can someone please help me.

Thank you

Do you know if your car has a tune? If not, you'll need a tune to turn off the CEL, the light is on because you are catless.

My car is staged 2 tuned I removed the tune for emissions. The defoulers I had installed seem not to be working. Does anyone have any ideas?

Yea the CEL came on because you removed the tune, next thing you can try is adding O2 sensor spacers. If that doesnt work, you have to add the cats back or get smaller cats.

We have our 100% Check light free- stealth series downpipes for the c43. no spacers or defoulers required. Plug and play. the pipe diameter is 2.75 (as big as the c63 OEM pipes) and you'll get a a nice deep tone with no rasp. the substrate is 250 cell so you wont be giving up horsepower vs. catless.

good option if you dont want to deal with the guessing and headaches.
