I’m wondering if this is an issue to cause concern or just regular under car dirt the welded seam on the plate that holds my exhaust Tips in place looks like it has oil leaking from it but could be road dirt kicking up in the rain and that’s the low point so is just gravity
Exhaust condensation and soot/carbon build up. Completely normal on every car.
Google will give you good tips to remove and clean your tips. I use Simple Green.
The above response is correct, with the following caveat: if your car is burning oil, this issue is far
more pronounced. I have had a few highly modified cars in the past where I only noticed this issue when the piston rings were crapping out. How is your engine’s oil consumption? On my c43, I lose half to 3/4 a quart over 10,000 miles (mind you, each mile is hard driving on a stage 2 tune).
