Fuel filter location? (if any)

Hi guys, hope you all are doing great.

I've searched all over internet (and the forum) trying to find some information on fuel filter replacement. I own a 2016 C450 and i'm doing a maintenance on several parts. I've read that the car doesnt have/need a fuel filter replacement but i find hard to belive that. What if dirty fuel gets into the tank... theres no filtering at all?

Thanks.

The filter is built into the low pressure fuel pump in the tank and generally doesn't need to be serviced as you would be replacing the whole pump

OP, just saw your thread today, it does not require maintenance that often, according to the service sheet, it is 12 years or 120,000 miles.
