Stealth Hitch installed on my 2017 C43
I purchased a Stealth Hitch in December and finally got around to installing it. The directions were from a C300, so they were close. I had to figure some things out, and I emailed and called their support line for a couple things. They were good. Compared to their detailed instructions, I had:
- Different taillights & wiring (incandescent v LED)
- Different fuse box (power source for their wire harness)
- Different bumper (had to improvise on cutting)
Overall, not too bad of an experience. I just took my time, working a little bit each time the weather warmed up. (Drove wife's car a couple times for errands.) Anyone who does maintenance and basic repairs on their own car should not be afraid of doing this. Here are a few pics of the car. I hadn't put everything back together yet, and it was still on jack stands so it was still sitting high. I can take more pics of it now, if needed.
