C63 S Coupe Edition 1 "DTM"
The newest addition to the starting line: the Mercedes-AMG C 63 Coupé Edition 1. Reflecting the design of the Frankfurt International Motor Show launch version of the 2016 Mercedes-AMG C 63 DTM racing coupé, the Edition 1 special model has been painted in an exclusive color combination of designo Magno Selenite Grey with yellow film coating and black wheels with yellow painted rim flanges. The special model is also equipped with Performance seats and an aerodynamics package, highlighting its proximity to motorsport. Here’s a first look at the extraordinary combination of exclusive design and equipment characteristics of the two vehicles.

The special models will be offered in two exterior designs. The first one is available exclusively for the S-model and comes in Magno Selenite Grey matt paint with yellow film coating. Yellow sport stripes adorn the engine bonnet, roof, boot lid as well as the side lines above the rocker panels. Completing the styling is a set of “extremely light”, matt black Performance forged wheels in 5 double-spoke design. The C63 S Coupe Edition 1 is equipped with ceramic high-performance compound brake system.
The exterior of the second Edition 1 variant features sport stripes in graphite grey matt and optional ceramic high-performance compound brake system. Both variants can be upgraded with the AMG Aerodynamics Package in high-gloss black, including additional large front spoiler, side skirts, lateral airflow breakaway edges in the rear apron, rear diffuser, etc.
The interior offers AMG Performance seats, upholstered in Nappa leather, yellow contrast stitching for the door center panels, arm rests, the steering wheel rim and the beltline and steering wheel of DINAMICA microfiber featuring a flattened bottom.
Under the hood a 4.0-liter V8 biturbo engine is working, available with 476 PS (350 kW) or 510 PS (375 kW). The performance equipment also includes the AMG Ride Control suspension with electronically controlled shock absorbers, the AMG Dynamic Select transmission modes and a rear-axle limited-slip differential.

I also don't like the spoke pattern.

C63 S Coupe Edition 1 "DTM"
I'm new to MB and just switched my order over from the sedan to the coupe when I saw the 1st trailer. The main reason was it just gave me the aggressiveness that the sedan seem to be missing.
I've also seen a C63S and a normal C class and to me the difference just isn't big enough, and the C63s coupe seems to solve that problem, especially after seeing these pics.
However I don't get the decals they seem to do on these cars.It just feels a bit cheap, and would be better suited on a Honda Civic or something like that (no offense to the Honda Civic owners out there).
I understand the edition 1 needs to stand out from the rest and that's the main reason some people have left the decals on, but surely there are some better design options AMG have available to achieve that?
I did like the interior of the edition 1 sedan and contemplated opting for that and removing the exterior stickers. But then really what's the point of paying the extra $ when it just looks the same as the c63s except for the red on the wheels?
I think I'll be just going with the standard C63 s and then adding the options I want. I guess I'll have a better idea of what to do as more examples come out.

Why?
To me, the appeal of C63S' is that it's supposed to be a nice balance between elegant and sporty.
Trying to make it look too "boy-racer" screws with that, and it just looks off. Stickers, racing stripes, flashy trim colors? Come on....this isn't an FR-S.

The decals and yellow lips are hideous. Why over do a car that's already as beautiful stock? Just throw a bunch of alcantara and CF on it, black it out and call that the ED1. Would be so much better looking!

I personally dislike the looks of the Edition 1 package on the coupe. Think that it would have looked far better if it was more subtle like the one on the Sedan version.

You know those letterings on the DTM tires? Those turn me on! Any idea if those are painted or stickers?

Not my cup of tea either...
Absolutely love this new C205 C63 but totally put off that kind of "dressing up" if that's what it's called, please MB/AMG leave that to the ricers of the World there's going to already be plenty ending up looking like that in the future without OEM adding to it

Maybe if it was just the normal side decal in yellow, that would be ok. Having the stripe down the middle and the tires is too much. I would take the Leagacy edition over the yellow...

Hate to say it.. but from the front 3/4 view, the general shape is kinda looking like a Mustang Shelby...

2015 C63s
I bought an Edition 1 last June and when I heared that they were releasing an Edition 1 Coupe I put my name on one. This past weekend I was at the Circuit of Americas with the AMG Driving Acadamy. MBDA had an Edition 1 Coupe present at the event. It was absoulty stunning! I spent every free moment with the beautiful work of art! Pictures just do not do that car justice! Can't wait till mine comes in!

So there are basically two Edition 1 packages. The first package contains the performance seats, night package with silver chrome exhaust tips and yellow diamond stitched interior (and matte carbon trim I believe). This package can be used with every paint color and it will add the front lip spoiler, bigger diffuser and bigger rear spoiler. As option you can add the decals in dark grey color.
Then you have the Edition 1 Motorsport which is shown above. This is the same as the other package but it also adds carbon ceramic brakes. You can only order it with designo magno selenite grey and yellow decals. However in some countries you have two rim options. You have the one shown above with a wide yellow border. And you have the regular black AMG rim with yellow outline, which looks better IMO.
