Based on the same design for the M157 we have have these units for the C63 M177

Weistec makes filters that are about 40% thinner and do not block the air intake so that should do the same as this with not all the expense and hassle of the install.

The filters we use are thinner too and the spacers give additional room

I'm still not on board with spending $450 on two air filters. I'd rather pony up and buy a piggyback tune if I'm going to spend that much.
