There is no C63 W204 ?
Read an old article from a local mag.
The new C-Class will appear in 2007's Geneva car show.
The AMG version will be a 5.4 litre engine tuned up to 400-410hp,
That is to compete with RS4 and M3 V8 in the same class.
I hope above news is wrong, even though it was my guess a year ago.

actually this information falls in line with the interview of AMG's Director of Operations.
he mentioned all the cars that would receive the 6.3 motor expect the C class and SLK class.
nevertheless, the 5.4 with a new 7sp auto should be really good.
I take that anyday.

Considering my C55 is running with zero problem (except some rattlings under warranty fixing), it is unlikely that I will go for an upgrade to another AMG before 2008.
Just curious any C55/C32 owners would think they would upgrade to a C55 W204 with 420hp in 2007 ; or they would consider the CLK63AMG with 488hp?

Personally I'm thinking the C won't get the 63 engine until they biturbo the 63 engine for the rest of the line and that probably won't take place until 2009 or 2010.
