Will there ever be a C63 AMG ?!
Hello, my friend is in the last stages of ordering a C55 amg he was asking me if there will be a C63 Shortly available ?
Is it worth it to order a C55 , or wait if the C63 is very close like 3 months time! and is it possible to spec a C63!

Yes the c63 will arrive with its amazing v10 power, ****ting on all the soon to come v8 m3's.
It will be here in about a year and a half so go ahead and get the 55, but it is coming i just put myself on the waiting list and the dealer said i was the first so and thats in newport beach where people love their cars. basically you got some time

C55 AMG, 135i, 911 GT3, GLE43 AMG
Nobody/no source has confirmed that the 6.2L V8 will make it into the W203 C-class as a series production car. The spy photos of the "supposed" C63 with flared wheel arches may be an indication of a very limited edition car which may/may not ever make it into North America.
Remember, MY2007 will be last year of the W203 chassis, with the W204 chassis making its debut in early 2007 as a MY2008. As such, I think it is highly unlikely that you will see a C63 for MY2007 in the W203 chassis.
If the 6.2L V8 ever comes into the C-class as a series production car, it will likely be with the W204 in the future.
Remember, MY2007 will be last year of the W203 chassis, with the W204 chassis making its debut in early 2007 as a MY2008. As such, I think it is highly unlikely that you will see a C63 for MY2007 in the W203 chassis.

By the way, MB don't need a V10 to be the king of the road. 6.2L V8 will do just fine, thank you very much. Remember I said the road not the track.

I thought we had an earlier thread , which concluded that, the 2007 W204 generation C AMG , will be a C55 with 7G, 5.4 litre SOHC V8 tuned up to 420hp to compete with the M3. This is inline with the 2007 CLK63 AMG with 488hp to compete with the M6. My personal guess is a C63 AMG will be launched in 2010 in the mid life of W204.

How can any conclusion be made if there is no evidence to support it.
I don't know about you guys, but I am seriously getting tired of all this speculation and nonsense.
A time will come (hopefully soon) when AMG will make an announcement on their intentions on the 6.3 liter and the c-class, but up until that point, let's please put an end to the perpetual rumours.
