I know that the CLK63 Coupe won't be available in the U.S. Let's hope that the C63 won't have the same fate. Maybe we can start a thread in the AMG Private Lounge to let MB recognize the U.S. demand for the C63 and CLK63 coupe.

Also, as someone previously stated, who knows if it will make it's way to this side of the atlantic....

Hey, I don't mean to be a pessimist, I'm just saying that there is no certainty at this point. Trust me, I probably want that car to come here more than anybody.
At this point it's hard to say and to understand whether they'll bring it to the US or not. Sometimes there doesn't appear to be much logic (at least to the consumer) in the decision making of some of the Auto manufacturers. For example, why has MB decided not to bring the CLK63 coupe to the States???

The C63 better come to North America!
But why wouldn't they allow it i don't understand i mean they allowed the 5.5L V8 why wouldn't they do the same for the 6.3L V8? I hate it how everything is allowed in Europe and all the proper specs are there but in North America everyting is just not right! especially in canada !!!

True, but I think the measurement's are different so American 91 is the equivalent of european 95. 95s still no 98 though!

Sorry that this is completely but 93 gas is at almost every gas station in NY. You can also buy an octane booster, like the NOS Racing Fuel which brings your octane up by 7 points (at least thats what the bottle says).
On topic: It will probably be quite a long time before we see this C63 out. From the photos, it looks like this C63 is a new body style. It will probably take another 2 years for the new C to come out, and then probably 1 more year for the AMG version. And I doubt it will have 420 or so hp if the CLK63 has around 480.

AMG guise with the firm’s sophisticated 6.3-litre V8, capable of pumping a massive 520 bhp but likely to be tamed to around 400 to 420 bhp for the compact saloon.
Just wondering if you guys will be able to "chip it" then open up the exhaust and WHAMMO!!!
