Here is my (all options and w/dark maple wood interior) C63, I just put the chrome door handle "cups" on... Kind of understated, but in my opinion plays up some of the other silver/chrome details...

Palladium Silver really makes the car look more aggressive!

I saw a silver one on the road the other day, it was stunning.

I think I like the white the best though, it looks so mean.

Is the "Black out" something custom or did you get it in the after market?

The parts that he had "blacked out" are painted (tails might be nightshade or overlays), but the "blacked out" look is where you paint or change the parts on the car to black it out:y.

It is all aftermarket, and any bodyshop can do the tail lights and grills.

thanks for everyones inputs ...but the truth is I love white and I hate black lol but I couldent waite another month so I rushed to get this for mdw but I don't even care I love the car and I'm gonna make my back lights darker and do the mirros like the back lights and maby do the eye lids iim gonna make my self like black lol..but if anyone has any odeas let me know thanks

If you actually do want to get faster then I can hook you up with my nitrous kit from my CLK500. All parts are from NOS. You can probably go with a 150 shot. Even after you do that, I'd still pull on you but at least you'd be much faster. If you get the motor forged and do a supercharger, you may have a chance...otherwise, if it's speed you want you have to go with a CL65 and tune it or something...even then, idk lol. But be happy with what you got. Your car is definitely quick so don't sweat it. BTW, the blacked out look is sick. Really badass bro.

haha ...nah I aint mad ii know corvets are fast but iim gonna do mad wor to my car I only had it aweek lol so in a couple months I'm hopeing to try and have around 600 hp lol...ii use my girls name on this fourm bec I never sigend up but she did ....but ill come up there nest thursday

how much hp do u have in that car and what did u have done to it .....

I got about 520hp with the air filter and headers. Headers only give 2-3rwhp gain. It's pretty close to stock.

I still say do the STS Turbo kit on it... Nothing like crusing at 130 on the interstate, flooring it and burning off rubber... But then again 1088 rwhp is damn scary... :eek:

I like the "blacked out" look so keep it up as you have many other areas to "black out". Have you thought about rims?

Next race - put 5 people in your C63 and 5 people in the Zo6 and see who has the fastest 1/4.

I got a new oversized star grille (CL style - chrome) and black wheels with polished lip and I am thinking about making the grille black and leaving the star chrome.

ii made my back lights darker to match the car and my eye lids on the front i painted black looks so sick and at night when it lights up the light comes threw it iits insane ...and for rims iim gonna keep them and powder coat the dark grey black should look siick.

Man that is nice as hell Blacked out. And Yeah the ZO6 Vette is a Beast, I thought about getting one, but I think I will wait on it to Drop value some more first! I learned the hard way with the 63. (Damn CLS63 value) :eek:

HRE Wheels C20 19" , Front 8.5, Rear 9.5, Front Tire 235/35/19, Back Tire 255/30/19.... but if you go 265/30/19 at the back it looks meaner.. I just played it safe coz im gonna lower the car. trying to order a KW V3 coilover. :y

So far I think Tobias did a great job putting this motor together.

I like the way it runs in all the different ways I have exercised the car so far to get the mileage over 2000.

Nice wheels you have there. Is the rolling diameter the same on the 19 after the profile aspect ratio change from the 18s?

IS, what kind of numbers are you putting to the pavement? HP & TQ? I'm a big fan of the Z06. One of my neighors has one and gave me the big grinn and nod at the stop light. He shot out on me like I was standing still! Gave him the bird at the next light as he wanted to play more -- once was enough for me! :)

I put down my reservation deposit yesterday on the exact same color combination as you but I chose the black maple trim instead. That aluminum looks nice and now I'm wondering if I should change it over.

Why did you choose aluminum? Did you ever consider the maple?

Love the beige with the black!

I'm scheduled to pick mine up in Sindelfingen in March. Since I've done the factory tour a few times in the past, I'm wondering if it would be worth it to zip over to AMG in Affalterbach and arrange a tour there. Did you consider doing that? Will they let you meet the guy who put your engine together?

Since March is still sort of the end of winter, I'm a bit concerned regarding what kind of tires will be on the car. I understand there is a new law (since 2006) requiring winter tires if the weather is dodgey.

Anyway... fabulous car!

Hawth, I went with the aluminum because I wanted a more sportier look and Carbon Fiber wasn't available. IMO wood is for old people, no offense to anyone out there.

IMO your wrong :D CF/aluminum is for young/racers/sportier , black maple is for young/ballers and BROWN WOOD is for senior citizens :y:D

That "standard" black is what I want as well :y I also understand that the 09 cars are also offering a grey-black interior, has anyone seen or have pics?

There are some pictures of the grey (Ash) in the thread called: "Can't get P02 w/out Leather Pkg?!?" You'll notice that the lower part of the dash is grey, unlike the beige which has a completely black dash. I'm not sure if I like one over the other... they're just different.

I think the pictures of Sahara probably look better due to the lighting etc. but it doesn't disappoint in person. As the great pictures in this thread demonstrate...Beige with the Black exterior is an absolute knock out.

I'm not sure if there is a change in its look from 08 to 09 but I did see a change on different model (CLK) of 09's. I wasn't so impressed with the New style, looks like a "V" shape lighting on the mirror. Monday my tints go on and possably some more pics. This almost like a full time job getting the car together, but its all good and fun :y:y:y

Must be a new york thing. j/k Lived there for ten years myself. I think dark tinted windows ruin a nice "clean look", too 80's looking. Try getting a red leather suit like Eddie Murphy wore in raw or better yet the purple one from delirious to wear while riding in it.

I think its perfect just with the black grill and star.

It was just my opinion. Save the dark tinted windows for the Maybach or limo. To each their own. I think a black car can get too black. That just hides the lines, shape and elegance of a high end german car. Makes it look a little cheap too. I personally don't want to look like 50cent or Diddy driving down the street in my MB's or Porsche. Again just an opinion. :word:

Traded in my C32, and wow, what a difference.. The sound, the handling, the power... I can't believe that I paid more for the C32 almost 6 years ago compared to what I am getting right now for less.

Hey all, I took my pictures a little late in the day, so they aren't the best. But here is my setup with snow tires/wheels that I got from Tirerack. As you can see from the last photo I didn't add any spacers on the rears, so with the 7.5in width on all four corners they look a little goofy inside the wheel well. But no issue for me with safe snow driving in mind. :)

Where can the clear side lamp covers be found? I don't like the matching paint option that I've seen already

It looks like you did not have any issues with clearance between the wheels and the brake calipers. Nice. I think 10mm spacers on the rears would look a little nicer, but I don't think you need them.

what have you tuned??

It's in the process. I'm first waiting for my HRE C93 wheels, and KW V3 coilovers to arrive first before dropping off my car over at RENNtech located up in West Palm to do the stage 2 ecu upgrade, their cf airbox which is due to be released at any moment now, etc...

The reason why I have "tuned" in my screename is because I'll eventually tune my car. Just like I've done with my other previous rides in other forums such as (TunedZ33 = Nissan 350Z, Tuned IS350 = Lexus, and TunedG37 = Infiniti G37)...and now being that I own a C63 now, it will be tuned even though it's not now. So there you have it.

So there you have it. Not tuned yet, but will be really soon.

so post up some pics when your project done! Hope to see your nice mods!!!:y

Thanks! Does Mars Red/Fire Opal tend to change based on the amount of light reflecting on it? The color seemed much brighter in person (which is why I didn't recognize it) when the sun was out. Perhaps when it isn't so bright, the "red" becomes darker...

Hey guys,this isn`t a real c63...its a normal c-class with the mods of the c63,the car is from germany,built from a tuner called markuzzi...i mean the blue,orange colored one....you can see it also on the lights,they`re clear

i jus realised that the mirrors are different for the US spec and Aus spec.
Even the guy from Canada has mirrors like the Aus spec one!!

Is that because its just different... or jus a facelift??
Any other differences apart from the reflectors?? lolz

you`re wrong!...I`m fropm Germany,i work at the Daimler AG,you can buy the C63 only with the black headlights,no other options or clear headlights...if you tkae the halogen lights you get also the black one,trust me....i think its the same like the blue/black/orange c63"fake"...it`s also an fake...

Yup, new mirrors for us Aussies :) Essentially, every C-Class made from July '08 onwards get's the revised mirrors (they look a lot better). But to my understanding, all the '08 built C63's were made before July, hence, this revised mirror differentiates the 08 and 09 deliveries :rolf:

Also new for 2009, iPod INTERGRATION! AU$150 odd for a cable that hooks up to the H/K. There's a socket inside the glovebox that this cable simply fits into (unfortunately it's not as simple as the standard USB cable your iPod comes with :nix:) [Oh and no B&O yet by the looks of it :nix:]

As far as I know, this is all that's changed for 2009 :)

I'm liking that front lip, different than any others I've seen posted. Do you have more details on it you can share? It looks like a dry carbon fiber? How does it attach, with screws or tape?

thx man, yes it is dry carbon.. I am using two screws and some glues to attach it with the front bumper :)

Who makes it? And do they make a wet carbon fiber version? I'm assuming the 2 screws have to be drilled through the bottom of the bumper? Thanks for the info! Car looks great, especially in Iridium.

Great ride mzporto and superb backdrop. Is it safe to drive around Sao Paolo though? We always had to ride in armored Mercs during our trip.

Bakdrop is Ibiúna, which is a town 70 miles from São Paulo. It is known by its lake, perfect for waterskiing!

São Paulo is not completely safe, but it is not a warzone either. It is a little like NY. There are neighbourhoods that are very violent and some that are very peaceful.

The violence problem in São Paulo is that there are more violent crimes more frequently at those violent neighbourhoods, specially. Robbery is mostly at gunpoint (therefore, the armoured cars) and there are - very less frequently - the "latin" crimes, such as kidnapping.

My GF got an armoured Audi A3. Reasons for armouring the car: (a) She's a girl and drives everyday to work in a pretty violent neighbourhood. She's a lawyer at a law firm known for the extended working hours, so, many times, she leaves the office late at night. (b) the car was bought used and armoured with 30k miles on it. It was not exactely a jewel to her. I'm thinking about armouring my car, but I guess I like it too much to do it.

It's just a facelift, I guess. The mirrors in the 08' aus spec C63 around here are like yours. The 09's are like mine. It's not a breaktrough though... nothing else changed.

hey i was jw, was the gloss black roof a factory option? or was this an aftermarket mod? if it is a mod, do you think it would be possible for the factory to do this? im pretty sure C350s have this option...

This is not a factory option on the C63. You are correct about the C350's though, some do come with a black roof... This guy did this as an aftermarket mod, however you might be able to get your dealership to do this for you but it would cost more money than a random bodyshop...

its the panoramic roof, which is tinted glass for the most part!

My wife and I moved to MB after 10 years with BMW. She had a 2005 X5, but when she saw the 2010 GLK 350, felt in love with it. My case was similar, since I had a 2008 M3, I had to get something equal or better, and I found it in a 2009 C63 with P02, Media Package and a bunch of goodies. We love our cars and it's been a great experience for both ever since.:y

I am looking at financing a Tanzanite Blue C63 AMG.

All the C63 AMG pics I see are white, black, and silver based colours. Seen one red in life...... wasn't too thrilled about the red.

Anyone has a Tanzanite Blue C63 AMG to show??? MB website doesn't do justice. Need some real life pics.

I have just ordered Euro's with a mini on the front as I was advised that the standard Euro on the front causes the sensors to go off.

I can't wait to get rid of WUG!!!

yes...it is true, the standard euro plate will trigger the front parking sensors. Because we dont have a long enough number plate platform, which is the big black plastic thing to hold the front number plate.

i order two standard number plates first...then i have to order another one...cost me $165 to order a mini plate to put on the front...very frustrating.

anyway...they look alrite even with the mini euro plate at front...but i prefer the white background rather than the black background...just matter of personal preference...

btw..nice to c some mates here....and ur porsche looks nice! sick...

there should be many thread about the revozport product, or u can go to their website have a look.

that company is based in Hong Kong, so depends on where you live, the postage price will be different.

and if you search in this pic thread, you should find some pics abt a white c63 with all those carbonfiber parts fitted, also have the front grill as well...looks pretty nice...

I had noticed a couple of cars on the forum without them but until you asked the question, I just thought the owners had removed them. I’ve now looked through the thread at the pics and see there are more cars without them than there is with and it doesn’t appear to be either location or year model specific. I see them on some cars in the UK, Canada and Hong Kong and all Australian models. I understand it’s to protect again stone chips though I think protection would be minimal given the small nature of the part. Maybe another forum member could shed some light on the subject???

As a side note, I’ve had the rear quarters pumped to facilitate the extra width of the new rear rims and tyres and asked that they be retained in the process to maintain the car’s stock look.

No not rolled, there was not enough lip to roll sucessfully. The fenders where pumped out by a panel shop.

Yes the rims were sourced for me from HRE by AMG Australia. Leeson there did a great job in helping out.

Im guessing this is Gloss Silver finished rim? Im thinking of Gloss silver on M40.

How long did you had to wait for the rim? or they have many HRE in stocks?

The rims are Comp93 (front 20x8.5 and rear 20x10) with silver powdercoated centre and polished lip. They were made to order, it took approx. 6 weeks for delivery. The rubber is front 245/30 and rear 285/25.

Yea I noticed C93 has three screws in between the spokes vs C21 only 2 screws.

I'm glad to see a silver powdercoated HRE, because I've been looking for this, and mostly brush finished around. It contrast the palladium perfectly.

BTW my palladium is on its way. CANT WAIT after seeing your photo.... :rolf:

PS:Can HRE do palladium silver powdercoated to match our body colour but I guess there wont be much constrast, but more integrated feeling.

Do you do Optimum Optic-Seal on the body paint also? As MB paint is high quality n I assume they have special coating from factory already?

I can be anal about the finish on my cars. I apply paint sealer to all my cars as I go through the detailing process, this includes my BMW. When necessary which is rare, I machine polish with Menzerna to remove any swirls marks. I use Dodo Juice Supernatural as a wax if I feel inclined. It works great on a white car. I have not done anything to the paintwork on the C63 yet and I agree the finish on it is great. As it's not a daily drive, is always garaged and never sees rain, I’m in no hurry to work on it. I have though sealed all the rubber and plastic inside and out with 303 Products Aerospace Protectant. It gives a very even and dark flat black finish and offers good protection from the sun and elements. It’s a precautionary measure. And before you ask, no I’m not a detailer, I’m an enthusiast who like to do the job himself.
