Here is a stock C63 take off for comparison
To each his own I say. If you like it, that's what matters.
I agree with the others though, tick too raspy for my taste.

I've gotta agree with these guys, you lost throaty and gained raspy.
FWIW, I removed the resonator and cats on my E55 several months ago and until last week had only heard it from a dig when I wasn't in the car (I think it sounds phenomenal at 1/2 - 3/4 throttle from a standstill). Last week I was behind my car with my wife driving and I told her to floor it from about 50 and it was way too raspy. If the stock E55 had sounded like a stock C63, I never would have changed it in the 1st place. Put the resonator back on.

Steel Gray 09' C63 AMG
Sounds a little like a Rustang GT. An exhaust upgrade is great, but I want the 63 to keep the deep tone "Big Block" sound and add to it.
BTW I want to see dyno sheets of a bone stock 63 with res. removed and see if there is a power gain or just more noise. Then show me dyno ECM with stock exhaust and one with res. removed.
That would be the deciding factor for me on the deal.

Feedback on sans resonator
I do not like the sound of the C63 without the resonator. Honestly, I am not a huge fan of the stock C63 sound either. This is one of the biggest weaknesses of the car IMHO. As soon as mine arrives (end of July), I will be shopping for high quality after-market systems, of which there are none at the present.
When I hear the C63, it sounds too much like a Mustang...not exactly inspiring or connotating high-end german performance car. I pay a premium price for among other things, a high class sound. Therefore, I am seeking a system that gives me more of an Aston Martin or Ferrari sound. I suspect either Eisenmann or Super Sprint may have something closer to that goal by late-July.

08' BMW E92 Coupe
Guys at Auto Addiction are awesome! They did some work on my 08' BMW 3-series coupe recently. Jay threw on some 19's and Greg did the tints. Should be going back there soon for suspension next. I highly recommend them

Sorry, you think Eisenmann or Super Sprint are going to make your C63 sound like a Ferrari?? I give up...
