question for you C63 owners?
im just curious but with the stock 235/255 tire sizes, how is traction when u smash it from a dig?
does the car break loose?
do you think u can go wider, if so by how much w/o rubbing?

one or two batteries?
I have another question, The C63 has a battery on the trunk and is a heavy duty 31VHD or 31VMT, I know heavy duty trucks uses 2, 3 0r 4 batteries due to the starter motor pulls a great amount of voltage to crank the engines, but on a C63? Or the battery on the engine compartment was eliminated due to the big V8 6.2LT

I have been told that the battery is in the trunk for balance, as well as there is no room for that size of battery under the hood, the engine is that big, very tight, one really neat feature about this car is the hood, when you open it, it opens straight up, meaning it opens to 90 degrees, really neat, this is due to the fact it is based on the MB DTM series car.

Balanced weight distribution in search of the perfect 50/50 split. Drag racers have been relocating batteries to trunks for decades now for the same reason...more weight over the rear tires on a rear wheel drive car = better traction.

a quarter mile at a time
If I can break 265's loose in my C350 on a good day, I'm sure the C63 can absolutely light up 255's.
