2009 C63 AMG Black on Black PP Package CF fully loaded
HA-LEY-LU-YA.... all I can say, Thanks Barry
Last Emperor... we'll need to meet up and rip around Brooklyn together and NYC... which to all is just a few minutes away,,, usually 7 mins 4 me from the VZ , with C63 we'll cut it in half...lol Imgine the sound going through the BB tunnel woooo eeee as our southern friends would say,,,lol
Wall st... just through the tunnel, and yes ahhh, those tall buildings rebounding that Shake Rattle and Rolling thunder. I travel all over the U.S. nothing like Manhattan on a summer cool night, with all the lady hotties walking around...or for that matter winter, spring and fall,,lol

Heh, now the question is what is included in the Compound Braking System, and Track-Calibrated Suspension?
I'm thinking different pads and rotors, and different valving on the suspension.

Compound brakes mean aluminum hubs with ferrous rotors. This is what they use on many AMG brake upgrades and had been calling them "composite brakes." People confused that with ceramic rotors so they're now calling them compound brakes. The stock brakes are 360mm/6 piston on the front and 330/4 rear, and I haven't seen any indication that the Performance Package changes this. Because it's relatively cheap, my guess is that the two-piece rotors are the only change.
And the suspension is stiffer.

I'm not sure what all they did. It could also involve different suspension components. The Performance Package on other models often include recalibrating the ABC suspension, but of course this is not applicable on the C63. So we will have to wait for more information than has been released. Again, because of the reasonable cost of the package I wouldn't expect much more than valving but that's speculation.

I don't understand why they up the speed limiter from 155 to 174. Why not just remove it? I'll probably never even approach 155, but why have one if you order the performance package?

i heard somewhere its limited to 174 because of the stress being put on the tires. i think it could hit close to 200. but this is just some hearsay so nobody ***** me out if im wrong.

Uncle sam didn't want you to drive faster then the tires were rated for, then blow out and you crash and die.
most of the time, most oems put on cheap tires to save cost.
