2009 C63 AMG
We are all "Boy Racer's"
For a period when I was having dealer problems, I was considering getting a 2007 or 2008 CLS63 and I posted over there regarding my decision making process. Frankly, I like the looks of the CLS63 more, but it is heavier and ultimately I needed room for 5, and the backseat of the CLS63 only holds 2.
I'm still getting responses from that thread, but I am surpised how many of the CLS guys said that they considered the C63, but it was too "Boy Racer" for them...
Not sure what that means, but I guess I am one of them because my car arrives today...

I spotted a CLS63 locally sold by the Lexus dealer. It is a '07 model with 19k miles (a bit on the high side) and asking price $68994. Wasn't the same model sold for around $100k (NAV, backup sensors, Ipod) when new? There are many '07 examples on Ebay selling between mid 60s and low 70s. When I punched in the trade-in value on Intellichoice, it was between the high $50s and low $60s. Can't believe in a little over a year it has depreciated that much!
I'd like to be the first owner, but when depreciation hits at $30k - $40k per year, I could use that money for something else.
