pics of my '09...
I painted the front grille, pieces around the fog lights, piece right above the rear license plate and the emblems on the rear matte black as opposed to matching the paint of the car, i thought it would look better. I also painted the side markers, side view mirror markers and the tail lights. Pictures aren't that good, but you can get the gist of it, let me know what you all think...

No offense but IMO:
1) black emblems on black car is not good,
2) thats why your rear is dark so the white part on the tail light is sticking out
3) side markers is not dark enough, you can still see the orange part
4) you should have black everything on your grill or did the other way around, black out the outter portion and left the star and 2 bars chromed.

Now that Ice brought it up I think the rear IS too dark. The AMG emblems or the C63 needs to be chromed or putered (is that a word dark silver putered)
Same for the mirrors but I dont know what the solution is.

Heck look, I liked it at first! Mine is black too. I think the grill could be black though with the star chromed. Heck I dont know. I am an old fart and not much of a pimp. I just like carbon fiber.

you guys are funny, the point was to smoke out the lights, side markers, etc. not to totally black them out. i'm not trying to look like every other car out there. i feel like some of you guys are hating cuz it doesn't look like the norm.

I think the car looks good, it's just the matte/gloss contrast is something people aren't used to seeing on this car yet. Don't change it. Have you thought about painting the calipers a different color?
