[PICS] New Wheels + Some small mods

I finally got my new wheels. Modular Concept 01 19x8.5, 19.9.5 Gunmetal/Chrome. Also got 15% tint all around, Midcity Engineering VIM and backup camera, and my Valentine 1 Radar detector hardwired. Pictures don't really do it justice since I'm a terrible photographer, but you get the picture.

Going to HMS next weekend to drop the car with H&R spings.

Looks pretty good, but the primary issue I have with aftermarket rims and these in particular is the inner lip/ring makes the wheels look much smaller than they actually are.

It'll probably look better after the drop but right now I personally prefer the stock rims.

I know what you mean, but it just looks like that in the pictures because the lip doesn't really show up. If you saw it in real life it's totally different.

4 wheeled car.
Looks hot, but it's a shame that the centercaps look so freaking cheesy

Where did you hardwire the V1 into? I've been looking for info on this. I did it on my M3 but can't find a DIY for the C63.

Really? I don't think they're that bad. Not the best I've seen, but not any worse than the usual center caps.

I had it done by a local shop. Cost me $100. I have no idea where they wired it into.

Those look great!!! What tire size are you running? Do you know of the offsets that were used? Any rubbing?

I just got a 2009 steel gray with sahara beige and am thinking about wheels for next spring.

I must admit that those wheels really suit your car, nice choice, i know it is a complete crap shoot trying to match the right wheel choice and offset etc for a car, but i think you succeeded, you might try looking into the mercedes or AMG center caps. I beleive they make them, could look more unique.

The tires are F 235/35/19 R 265/30/19. No rubbing at all, but that might change when the car is lowered. I got my fingers crossed. Not sure about the offsets.

Thanks! I will definitely look into getting different center caps.

Hey Tim, I was calling you to see if you liked your wheels. They look great! Thanks for posting! You should not have any issues after lowering.

I paid $800 for the install. Hey, I never said those guys were cheap. If you want cheap go to Al&Ed's. La Jolla Audio is the best installer in San Diego. They only work on Ferraris, Porsches, Lambos, benzes, Etc...
