What's wrong with my color?
3 Attachment(s)
Hey guys, I really like all the carbon fiber and the blacked out exterior parts. I think they look amazing on the car in white, black, red, and I think they would look good on the silvers too. I would purchase these CF parts except my C63 is steel grey, and for some reason I don’t think the carbon fiber parts look right on a steel grey car. Is it just me? What do you think? The car looks great in person but I just don’t think it matches somehow.
Here is a collection of pictures I found in other treads. |
CF works best with contrasting colours such as white. Another reason why I choose not to purchase any CF parts for a black car.
Some bigger pics...lol
Well that steel grey C63 has the CF in matte finish, which blends in with the color more. I think if it were in a gloss finish it would give you that contrast you are after.
The pic in the middle just look like fiberglass not CF?
Also, is that steel grey or black....it looks blue almost. |
I think you are right. I'm not feeling those parts colors on your color. It's kind of like when I triied to put clear lenses on the corners of my Black 63. Just didn't look good at all.
For some reason it looks cheap on that color.
im not a big fan of CF on dark colors either - i like it in contrast to white and silver only
TBH...all that carbon stuff doesn't really look good. Maybe a carbon lip...but that's it. I don't particularly like the revozport one, but I think that's all there is right now.

I like the look of a black car with wet CF

I think I can chime in here. Being a pro artist awhile back, I think the issue is lack of contrast.
On the contrary, I think CF looks perfect on grey!
