Tire Guage Warning!!!
My BAD...GAUGE not guage...lol
For those who has after market wheels....Does your Tire Gauge Warning lights on even though theres no problem or no leak on your tires....coz mine keeps turning on after I reset it.

I've had 2 false pressure alarms but none in a while. Every Benz I've owned has had sensor problems from time to time. I'm almost conditioned to believe that a warning is a false alarm.

I have noticed that problem with stock tires and rims. Talked to the dealership and they told me that if it persist they can open the software spec to allow a higher +/- on the range rather than the standard range. Check the tire pressure and record it daily both cold and hot. I drive around with a gauge in my car now and record it as it comes on and getting a baseline on the readings. I also just for my curiosity carry a racing tire probe to measure the temp on the tires as well. Bottem line is if the pressure is correct, then have the dealership open the TPS sensor range to allow the warning to not anoy you anymore.

I had fun especially on the caravan. First time for me to see live drifting. Did not park at the Elite/Baller side coz I wanna hangout with my original crew (VW/AUDI) coz there's cold beers and bbq (we brought our own grill) and put up 4 tents together. And more pretty guest ladies this year than last year.

Recently, i got the "correct tire pressure" alarm. I set the air pressure for all 4 tires at 39 psi prior to driving the car. the air temperature in this around is around 65F right now and after driving the car around a little, i would get the alarm. So i decided to let the car sit just a little and then corrected the tire pressure without letting the tires cool down. doing this didn't make the alarm come back on so i'm wondering if this is the whole issue that some people have experienced that the air pressure sensors are very sensitive. i did notice that from 39 psi to driving around my tires go to 42 psi. do you think the sensors are that sensitive?

i still have no clue about mine except what people had posted before that the sensors are just too sensitive.

So I found out that the reason I got my "correct tire pressure" alarm is because my tire gauge is 4 psi off. How did I know this? Because I just ordered the Accutire Programmable Digital Tire Pressure Gauge with Flashlight as it was one of the top recommended gauges.
I received it in the mail on Friday and tested out the tire pressure on my 2010 ML because that car tells me what the air pressure is off all 4 tires. The Accutire was identical to what the ML was telling me. So that made me comfortable that it was reading correctly. Then I compare the readings to my cheapo tire gauge that I got from an auto parts store. This is when I found out that the cheapo gauge was 4 psi higher so I was basically running 35 psi in my car instead of the 39 psi that I wanted to run. So for people out there that might be having the same issue, I would recommend buying a good tire pressure gauge.
