Remember, insurance companies use a lot of variables in determining rates (location, accident stats, demographics, etc., as well as your personal record). I think you're stuck with doing good ol' gum shoe type reasearch. Even though a lot of folks laid praise to State Farm, there may be another more comsumer friendly provider near you. Come up with a list of tough questions for the company you contact and have them respond. Remember, they want your business and if you make a more informed decision based on results..then that will most likely be your best choice...just a humble opinion. Good luck.

State Farm for me as well. South OC and I pay $850/yr for my C63. I do get pretty much all the discounts the have.
Keep in mind that Auto insurance works geographically. A good company for my area could be very poorly rated in another.
