I never get into the car without turning off ESP...of course, I don't act stupid either...a little wheel spin (esp. towards the top of 1st or 2nd gear) is always a good thing.
Now, you do have to be careful that you aren't getting ready to turn when you hit it...the back will come around easy, but controlled.
I have a favorite U-turn on Nimitz Hwy (which is under the H1 Hawaii in HI), and love to wait for no cars coming, then juice it...back end comes out nicely, and when you countersteer, it hooks up and takes off...and with K1 usually bounces off the rev-limiter...LOVE IT!
I'll have to admit, when the car is breaking lose, a simple counter-steer in the direction you want to go will bring the car nicely to that position. perhaps because I don't have the LSD, which forces the inside wheel to start spinning, and brings it back on line...but always seems to wind up where I want to be heading.

Congrats on your new C63! Enjoy it & drive safe. Sorry about the screw in your tire. Did they offer you rim & tire insurance when you bought the car? I've used mine for three new tires already.

MBWorld Fanatic!
Note, I said in my opinion.
Have you ever experienced daily life with it?
It's far more than just not having to turn a key. My keys never come out of my pocket. I grab the door handle, it unlocks and opens. I grab the trunk handle, it unlocks and opens. I touch the door handle, it locks. The whole concept of the key goes away. It is undoubtedly the most-used "option" on my car.
Priceless.

I would probably always forget my keys. When they come out with a finger print to start and open the doors. Then it will be a MUST HAVE!
Its a cool feature though.
Gratz on your new ride and welcome to the club!
