right mirror tilt when reversing question
i am struggling with this right mirror adjustment when reversing.
i have played it by the book: 1 turn the key 2 click to the right 2 put gear in reverse 3 click the light for the right mirror adjustment 4 adjust the mirror 5 click M and within 3 seconds click one of the arrows. i cannot get the mirror to do what it is supposed to do in my opinion, allow me to make sure i avoid curb rash on my rims while parallel parking. am i the only one ? any suggestions please. thanks |
I don't think you need to put in reverse to adjust it. Skip that part next time. I'm only reading the manual also.

The steps sound correct to me. There is also a menu in the instrument cluster that allow you to enable/disable that feature, have you checked that yet?

Not sure about the 2010's but you can program a right-mirrow-down position on "memory 3" setting...you might make take your normal "memory 1" everyday driving position and just change the mirror setting for "3." Somebody posted this tip a while back and it's much better than nothing.
