ML350
Trading in the c63 for for a Palladum Silver 2010 ML350... As much as I dont want to, its just a car that is not practical for a 19 year old because I need a car I can drive all year round to and from college. Just wondering if anybody here has and ML could give me some thoughts about them.....Thanx:y

Good call.
Great to see logic prevail over emotion in one as young as you.

Now that Sebring has indentified you as being intuitive, don't go out thinking you need to knock some broad up just to fill the darn thing...
Wear a jacket when you leave the house. |

The ML is an awesome SUV... I am not so sure about the 350 but I own a ML550 and it is an absolute blast to drive and very rare to find. If you have the chance test drive an 550 do it. Yes it is a bit more of money than the 350 but it's also like night and day. The 2010 models come with LED taillights and the front bumper used in the ML63's which looks much more aggresive!
The ML550 was a blast I test drove one @ the dealer... But Im sticking with the V6 I dnt need any more speeding tickets lol... Thanx 4 the insight:y |
Talk to Jeffield. He has both.

but seriously, the ML is a great car and it comes in handy... but I think having both is good because you are covered for everything you need. I would never give up my C63 for my ML but I am still young and your age... but i have not grown up yet :) |
How much are you getting on the trade?
|
A big SUV like the ML is "practical" for a 19 yrs old for college. Am I missing something here???

Have you ever tried to hook up with a chick in the back of a C class? It's sooo much easier in a ML. :slap: lol

I am not a fan of any SUVs in general to be honest unless you have a family or need that off-road function....If you gonna start a family soon, at your age with a SUVs you will look like driving a family car or truck...
In fact, all I see MILFs or soccer/hockey moms are driving around with this truck anyway.... ...But that's just my two cents. |
X5? Try to retain more of the sporty side? How bad are the winters? Why not RS4?
Belive me, you will miss the sportiness, agility, and the general athletic nature of your car due to it's lighter weight. I own a cayenne gts, and some days I just hate driving it and have this itch to drive the AMG. |
When I was 19 and needed a car, I drove my parent's 1984 Chevrolet Celebrity wagon :naughty:

Wear a jacket when you leave the house. I had a 2002 ML500 that I drove for about 7 years. I know the models have changed but I really loved that ride. It always came through for me. I think if you have good reasons (which you do) to get rid of the C63, do the trade. You're getting a fair price for your C63 on trade. |

My last car was an ML 63. It was a blast. Like driving a tank, and beats the **** out of other AMG's when there's snow (which is the situation here 6 months/year.

Drove a ML350 Bluetec 4 Matic at the MB driving Academy on Oct 4. Everyone really liked the way it handled for a large SUV. It was a bit of a challenge to keep on line but if I concentrated on it I was well rewarded. :)
Enjoy your new ride. :y |
