I beat you twice that day alone and twice on our first Race. Bruce from TTM and a few others saw it happen. Then you left because you didnt want to get beat again when we all turned around for a 2nd run.
Ahh Jon... When do the lies stop? We had 4 runs that day... 1 I had to lift for traffic. I got it on vid.. I even said in the vid that I lifted... I can post that if you like..

Is it really that bad? Sometimes I dont know where it comes from. I really dont talk like that in person do I? Yes, its a combo of Long Island (20 years) and Brooklyn Italian (10 years) and NY I guess... LOL

As for the M6- Ill preach to the choir since I owned one:
Its a freeway ripper but it has not chance from a dig. But those who use track times to justify a good race against an M6 in a roll are not using the apples to apples theory IMHO.
These races are all "pre meditated" meaning planned via 3 horns and perfect shifting which the M6 must have. If you find an M6 on a normal road and you run it in a C63 Id say the results would favor the "mash and go" capabilities of the C63 (stock vs stock up to 160). It takes a long time to make up a short burst in an unplanned race.
So in a planned world the M6 is faster up top but in the real world I know what car I would want maybe 8 out of 10 times. The M6 is a great car but it requires you to be on it 8/10ths or better to get the most out of it. If you are in the wrong gear (M6) in an unplanned race- goodbye... The cars are too closely matched and the ease of driving an AMG gives it the "unplanned" advantage.
I speak purely from experience owning 4 AMG's and 4 M's including the M6. And I am speaking stock vs stock. Modding changes things for both cars. My car had the RPI scoops (I was at RPI and did a before and after dyno on a DD- 13 whp gain)- Evosport pulley, Jeremy Tune, Meisterschaft (aka MeisterSeoul) cat back exhaust and it ripped even with 20's...
Id argue that the M6 (which has love or hate looks) is quite sexy- my old beast:
