The reason why I like silver is because it really brings out the body lines and curves of the car.

Nice wheels!!! They look perfect on your car!!! I like the silver calipers, as well. Blue would seem a bit out of place. Yellow and Orange, meh.

Mine haven't really chipped, I would just call a good body shop and have them redo it. I have heard painting the calipers is the right way to go but powder coating will definitely give you better durability against chipping.

I think you could have gone with a 245 up front. either way I love the M40's some of my favorite wheels.

supposed to be in the 40's tomorrow going to test fit mine wheels tomorrow. 19x8.5 et35 245/35 and 19x10 et50 275/40 with H&R's. will see what happens on my initial mock up things looked ok?

Do you have HRE's as well? Please let me know how the drop is with the H&R's. (rubbing, ride quality, etc)

I only wish I was putting HRE's on my car. I have Kleemann heavy cast wheels. but offsets listed above, should be interesting to see how they fit I mocked them up without tires and it looked pretty good had a front and rear on and that was ok but never drove on it. Will probably just put a side on and go for a quick ride. We still have >3 feet of snow on the ground here.

I can answer ride quality, it's about the same as before the H&R's. The C63 isn't all that nice of a riding car so springs can't / don't really make it any worse.

Crazy you mentioned that because I washed the car today and got rid of the salt residue and spent 20 mins cleaning each wheel. Not only did I notice the right caliper chipped but tons of hair like scratches or stress fractures in the wheel. I have never curbed them and was wonder how these things happen?
