Got a nice package from AMG today....

Just got my registration packet for my AMG Academy event at Lime Rock.
Snapped some pics of what came in the packet.
It's confirmed that the SLS will be available and the nice booklet contains pics of some other AMG cars, the new CLS included.
I hope the new CLS will be there, one of the dealers I spoke to said it will be, who knows--either way I can't wait.
I just wish they'd listed the available cars--I'd love to drive the CLKBS and the new CLS and of course the SLS will be fun!
You guys on the fence should do this, when else will you get to drive so much of the AMG product line in one day!:y

Sweet!

nice that should be a good time. I wrecked an SRT vehicle on the "option uphill" section during an SRT track experience, hit a curb and the front wheel exploded in a million pieces. Was an awesome day.

I registered to a similar event in the montreal area on may 20th! Cant wait to receive that in the mail!!

Hahaha--that's awesome.
I actually tease my wife that I'm going to crash one of the SLS and she freaks:D
She knows I'm crazy enough, but I'd never do that to an AMG, an M car, defintely:D

Nice, I was thinking about doing the one at Laguna Seca... is this the one day event?

Yes, the Basic module.
The PL offers a nice discount, I forget now how much, but it got me off the fence.

How is insurance handled on events like these? If you destroy a car, are you or your insurance company liable?

I took a Skip Barber school there in 1979 in Formula Fords. Had a great time.

I think you are really going to enjoy it. :)

Ohhhhhhhhh Ya ! :y

Thanks for the advice Zephyr--just because I'm a little crazy doesn't mean I can't control myself in public:D
BTW I didn't know you were swinging from the other side:D
I don't have any issue with gay people at all or their lifestyle, I live in Massachusetts for God's sake.:p:

We all come from different parts of the country and world for that matter, so I think sometimes people get the meanings of their comments confused and taken the wrong way.
We see this all of the time on here.
I've travelled this country(and the world) and I think it's fair to say that different places have slightly different values, customs, humor and ways of interacting with each other.
Eg: the South, New York, New England, NoCal, SoCal, Midwest, etc.
We are all products of our environment and our upbringing.
I grew up in New England and was raised in a cutthroat family business environment.
My skin might be thicker and my tongue a bit angry, but what can you expect, I live in New England, we're a miserable bunch:p:
Anyway, I just wanted to explain myself to you Zephyr and anyone else who's crazy enough to read this nonsense:D

Thanks for getting me OT:smash:

WINNING:rolf:

No, they have their own insurance to cover the cars they are providing. As for yourself, I am not sure.
