Hey guys (and gals). I recently traded in my M3 competition package for a 2009 C63. My wife and daughter made me do it (they wanted 4 doors!) that's my story and I'm sticking to it.
I'm interested in meeting up with other owners for some brag and beer.

There is a large meet at M-Power Auto Specialist (a local shop) this saturday October 13, 2012. Quite a few of us AMG guys will be there if you guys would like to come. Here is some info taken from another forum.
We are hosting a night meet at our shop for the first time! All of our day meets have been a huge turn out. Like always we will have FREE food and Beer! We will also have prizes and a live DJ. Feel free to come on by to hang out to get to know us or just to grab a bite to eat and check out some cool fast cars!

I know Ted and Ned quite well...they pinged me about this! They serviced my M3 from the second day I bought it in 2010 and checked out the C63 before I closed the deal. I think it will be a busy night there...and we'll probably have to park on Westheimer! 
no doubt there will be some awesome machines on display there....
IMHO we could keep this a "C63 Family Reunion" and look for a spot with an outdoor patio overlooking/adjacent a Car park. The weather has cooled down (even for this island boy)...so we won't overheat. Beyond this first Beer and Brag...I'm hoping a few of you may be interested in going to one of the days of the Texas Mile (Oct 26-28). I've not been to the Beeville location but I've been to the Goliad county event.

I had a falling out with MPower. I did not like Ted's work. I do not want to bash them, especially publicly. They are just not for me. I am not going to the Texas Mile either.

hey guys.. since everyone here is local.. just wanted to ask for suggestion of where/what shop to go to install coilovers.. i've asked one shop already and the price is too much ($600+).. i'm looking at maybe $300.. or i'm dreaming for this price? hope to meet the local enthusiasts here in the forum but can't do it on my current schedule.

Evs motors installed my springs for 500ish with alignment, but I would personally try sports cars repair on Starlane. Talk to Troy he owns an E55 and is way more knowledgable than evs. He's quoted me dirt cheap prices on other mods. Mgbrillo will u be able to join us?

I bought mine in houston 2 weeks ago, white stock no P30. Lady owner 
. But the car is badged with RENNtech! Don't know exactly what was done on it. When i called MB Sugarland they just told me it has stage 2 but i don't see any carbon fiber under the hood

I'm often in houston like this week end for example but i will be driving my wife's CX-9. Will have some window tint done and a trip to ikea as well

i called that shop and is charging me (way) north of my price range.
i can't go on Sundays but maybe on future meet-ups hopefully on a Saturday, maybe i can go.
