Need Help with New BBS Wheels

I installed my new BBS CH-R wheels this week. The specs are as follows:

Front:
19X8.5 5-112 ET40
235/35R19

Rear:
19X9.5 5-112 ET45
265/30R19

I have not had any major issues with rubbing except for very limited scenarios where I hit a major dip in the road. I try to take them slow, but they sometimes will surprise you without notice. When I hit the dip I can hear some rubbing in the rear wheel well. We just finished a two and a half hour roadtrip over rough roads, and I bet I heard this about 3 times in total. I do not hear anything at the front. The dips are severe enough that it seems like the springs are compressing fully.

My question is as follows: should I be concerned at all with this? If so, what options should I consider? Sorry, being new in the aftermarket wheel category, I'm not completely sure what to expect. I love the look of the wheels and would just like to make sure nothing bad will happen to the tires or the car.

Thanks

If it only rubs on big dips... I would not worry about it. Just leave it, it wont really do any harm to the car.

But if you are concerned, the only solution would be to roll or shave your fenders... but I wouldn't want to do so as I heard our car's fenders can separate if rolled.

Hi I also waiting for my bbs ch-r with the same spec as your but in different color. I was thinking about running 245-35-19 at the front and 275-30-19 at the back. Do you think I will have problems with this tire set up?
If I do, what is the best set up should I go?

Can I see your car pictures with bbs chr. Haven't seen c63 with bbs chr before.

Thank you

I think you'll rub with that setup. You can see pictures of my car if you go to the "Aftermarket Wheel Sticky" on this page. I just posted some of the pictures.

Let me ask you a important question.
What kind of tires are you running?

Yup, I think that's what the problem is.
I have very slight rubbing when I hit dips on the fwy.
I'm also running 265/30/19 Michelin PSS, lowered on H&R springs and running agressive front and rear offsets (front 19x8.5 +35, rear 19x9 +45).
I had no ribbing issues when I was running 265/30/19 Hankooks.

_AMG_, are you worried at all about the rubbing? I don't have any experience to know whether I should be. I'm still on stock springs. Your car was the inspiration for my car by the way! Love your wheels!

Thanks man, I appreciate the kind words.

Honestly im not worried at all, I do occasionally look at my tires to see if they are still in good shape, and so far they are in great shape.

The CH-R's look great, would be nice if they did a fitment for a 10 inch rear.
