got rear ended, possible to replace it to 2012 rear bumper?
Hello all,
So, my car was sitting at the parking lot and unfortunately someone that I know at work hit the rear bumper of my car. It needs to be replaced and he was very sorry about what had happened. Can't be too mad about it cuz it's not by stranger but still its annoying and prolly time-consuming to get it fixed. However, I'd feel much less stressful if it would be possible to change my damaged rear bumper to 2012 one. It was about 10 years ago when I got this kinds of incident so not so sure how insurance policy goes about this matter, and I'd be really appreciated if anyone familiar with this situation could help me out. Thanks for any suggestion! |

Just did mine today, pics will come. You will need additional parts for the diffuser and two inner side bumper brackets.

Thanks for the replies guys.
Actually I am more curious if insurance company would allow one to replace the damaged rear bumper to the facelifted one. Would it be possible? I am in CA if it matters regarding insurance policies. |
Damn, that is a nice back ground.

But it also depends on shop. I've been to shops where they say they won't do it, and I've been to shops that are more than happy to. |
