Faster acceleration and lap time around the Top Gear test track (where the car was mostly developed) are a few advantages the Macca has over the Fezza. the carbon tub monocoque, extensive use of carbon fibre and more powerful engine are great things going for it. However, Ferrari usually has nailed it in designing their junior V8 models making them insanely beautiful and quite groundbreaking in aerodynamics and function. I, and it seems most others, feel that the 458 is MUCH better looking. most magazine and TV comparison tests that I've read/seen end up picking the Italian over the Brit based on looks, sound, and feel of the car. I personally have not driven either car, which would be the true test.
The M3 is generally faster around most comparison track tests versus the C63. Do you feel the M3 is the better car?...I didn't think so.

X2 with Valjean's comment. I think many of us bought the C63 because deep down, it appeals more to our senses.
You should be in love with that kind of purchase. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder but I also prefer the exterior of the 458. Interior is a toss up.
I am sure you can arrange to drive both.
+ the 458 is a spyder now and that is a plus too.
You are one lucky guy

We will have to agree to disagree on this one about the 458 being a better car.
Ferrari enthusiasts will make arguments that the MP4 was developed around the Top Gear test track, but you fokes need to keep in mind that Ferrari does not allow their cars to be tested without a full crew to calibrate their cars for each and every particular test track. Ferrari often provides ringers to throw the balance in their favor. If they couldn't beat the MP4 even with a "juiced up ringer" 458, that speaks volumes.

Depends. Is this your only means of transportation? I see you are in Toronto that means snow and awful winters. What would you do then? I would get rid of the C63 for one in a heartbeat but then again I am just commenting and not buying the car so its easier said then done.

Amazing car no doubt and on Top Gear they said it is very liveable, but in Toronto as your only source of transportation I don't see being wise. Plus, unless you are going to track it religiously, you are left with what to drive it on mostly: the 401? The Don Valley Parkway? lol If you can afford both than I say go all out and just order one, but you could also keep the C63 and get a GTR for track days and insane acceleration and save $150+k. Just my $0.02.

I would trade my C63 in for a Macca. Then I would drive to a Maserati dealership and trade the Macca in for a GranTurismo MC Stradale. IMO it looks much nicer than the MP4. Although, the MP4 is a much better performer, but on looks, it's no comparison.

Mercedes C63 amg, Bmw X5,
No that is not true. C63 actually doesnt look bad next MP4. ITS NOT A BUGATTI. Some people in a lot of countries pay more for a c63 then you guys pay for MP4 in United States, so I wouldnt go that far and say its a ****ty car compared to MP4.

The color is ugly. The steering wheek looks like it came straight out of a C-Class sedan. Get the Ferrari. If Ferrari will let you buy in.
Pay no attention to me. I'm just insanely jealous. I have seen a gorgeous Maserati 2+2 up close and personal that I would prefer over either of the above mentioned boy racers.
