i was driving on the freeway last nite and just for kicks i set the max cruise control ---- 130 mph!

i wasn't going that fast, but was playing with the knob to see how high it would go.

crazy- i lol'd.

i remember my wife's old 05' G35 would not go past 85 or something.

There is no max cruise control speed. I locked myself at 300 kph on the German Autobahn which is roughly 190 mph.

there is in the states i guess- i could not set it higher than 130 mph.

Try setting it when you're cruising at the speed limit say..65mph. Set it to 130mph, the car would kickdown giving full throttle until the cruise speed is reached!

Happened in the S430..

In the C63 it doesn't kick down. it just accelerates quickly up to speed.
