Okay, so Rimlox said their lugs are rated for 200lbs. They said it could've gone higher, but they stopped measuring at 200.

This is the best news I've gotten today. Thanks for looking into it.

Now I just need to figure out how to place that order...

Just call them directly. Apparently for each referral, I could get a gift card AND you get a discount

Awesome! Apologies for being a hassle, but can you PM me the contact info + whatever you want me to tell them so you can get a referral bonus?

Thanks!

If you're protecting a set of HRE's (or other $1,000 a piece wheels) it might be worth it. Otherwise it seems like over kill. If someone is really determined to get your wheels, he will find a way. Fortunately most theives have a short attention span.

That's why I like that Rimlox will replace your wheels if they get stolen. They haven't paid out since they've been in business. That must be a good sign.

Hey Cool,

I know this thread is borderline a year old but I wanted to ask you what your thoughts where on the Rimlox's you purchased. How are they holding up? And has it been any hassle to deal with things such as swapping out tires (if you've had to) since the key has to stay sealed the entire time.

I'm looking for a set of locks for my wheels I just picked up this past weekend.

So far, so good. There have been no major issues with taking wheels off or putting them back on. I managed to have both copies of my keys, but I could easily leave on with the regular tire shop I use.
