11.9 mpg over the first 1146 miles

Lets just say I put $40 in the tank each day I drive it.

Getting 19 to and from work. 50% freeway and 50% stop and go.

I am getting 11-12mpg. This the average over many thousand miles. Mainly driving in the city. My wife's Rover gets 20% better mileage. But she has at least 20% less fun while driving. Lets face it, we didn't buy these cars for efficiency. Love the beast.

15.0-16.0 mpg with moded GTR
13.2-13.5 mpg with C63

All cumulative daily driven mileage fwy and city combo.

:word:

I got 14.6 mpg average. On highways is 19-20 mpg and in the city goes as far as 12-14 mpg. Not exactly the most efficient engine/car fuel economy combination out there... but entertaining anyway :y

That's light on gas, my c 55 is worse on fuel than any of you, enjoy that fuel consumption.

First real road trip...

I just drove from Washington DC to Chicago and took a couple of photos of mileage etc. The car seems to get around 21-22 on the highway going 75 and then the average comes down really fast as soon as you sit at a traffic light..

I had a huge head wind the entire trip along with temps ranging from high teens to low 40s. I also had 200 lbs of luggage in the trunk and all season tires.

Great car for long trips and amazing power for the PA Turnpike..

I'm guessing around 9-11 MPG?

Mode Carbon 03-10-2014 05:52 PM

14.6

BiturboSF 03-10-2014 10:03 PM

8-10mpg is my usual but that is 90% city driving...lots of stop lights...stop signs...hills & congested traffic. Hwy & city combined nets me 12mpg, but if I'm doing straight highway I have gotten up to 20-21mpg going 65mph. This 6.2 likes to suck up gas like no tomorrow

kimeran 03-11-2014 04:17 AM

I'm currently getting 26.2l/100km :wootrock:
I've gotten it down to 16l/100km then got over that and back up to 26l/100km! :naughty:

ecohen2 03-11-2014 12:38 PM

Hmm I am curious if the 507 gets slightly better mileage due to the lighter engine components? I also know that I get crappy mileage in the DC area during the winter because of the fuel blend. I consistently get around 5 mpg less during the winter in my other cars...

roadtalontsi 03-11-2014 10:57 PM

your lighter rotating assembly will not make a noticeable impact on fuel economy. on top of the winter blend remember colder air is denser. meaning more fuel needs to mix with it for the correct mixture. Which is also why the car is faster when it's colder outside.

So just did my 1st long distance trip. Distance of 600km and averaged 11.8l/100km with mixed driving. Averaged 140km/h and a few sprints to 250km/h.
Not bad at all I think! Expected alot worse
