Thanks a lot pcho for the advice, I never thought of trying to leave the keys inside the car as I'm too afraid to lock them in... hehehe!

It wont let you. somehow it knows when you are not in the car (probably pressure sensor on the seat?) but the key is still in the car. with those conditions, it prevents you from locking the car from the outside

I use to have the same problem when washing my car. It locks and unlocks on each stroke, forwards and backwards as I clean my car with the car cloth. Annoy the hell out of me until I found out chucking the key on the seat stops that.

Quick update before I go play soccer
Got my car back! the handle so far seems like its working beautifully!
I have been without my DD for almost two weeks now, that drive home... lets just say, felt like two best friends that finally met up after years apart.... almost shed a tear.
and then I went on to the on ramp, flipped it to S+ and zoomed off!

Just got back home and damn I miss this car lol... Anyway, when I went to pick up my car, the SA knew I was in a hurry so he pretty much just flipped me the keys, no paperwork etc so I was on my merry way. I think i'll give him a shout next week to ask for a report.
Accel, I know what you mean that it doesnt really make alot of sense that the antenna problem only affected one door, but its working great now so far... hopefully the report back will explain something
Btw, this dealer has a gorgeous CL63 in the showroom, diamond white with alot of bells and whistles..for 170k +
it's scary how expensive some of these cars go for but what a beauty.
