Snows for my Edition 1 C63
Ontario Canada. We don't see a ton of snow any more but enough. Any suggestions so I can start shopping early?

Hankook Icebears W300 if you can find them. They're mediocre in deep snow and ice, good in light snow, and awesome in cold dry conditions. I'd say they're the best for cold and dry, which is 80% of Calgary winters.
Cheap too! |
I have a staggered set of 18" Michelin Pilot Alpin Sports on factory SL55 turbine wheels for sale
They look like your Edition 1 wheels but silver |
How do the Hankook's perform? I don't see them after a quick search in 19s.

Acually get the hankook W310s new for last year and much improved from the W300

i ran Blizzaks WS-60s last winter in toronto, no issues.
|
Any of these available on the 19s?
|
Get a set of forgestar 18" wheels for winters. Cheap, and save you money in the long run on winter tires.
|
Are you thinking of driving your matte edition 1 in the winter? Good luck keeping the paint in good shape from salt.
As for tires, I would go Blizzaks like noodleman mentioned. |
I would only get Blizzaks if you're seeing a LOT of snow on a regular basis. From the sounds of it, the OP doesn't see that much snow.
On dry roads, Blizzaks just melt off like it's nothing, and performs like crap. |
Roswell, I actually know another edition one owner who drives his edition 1 coupe in the winter with BBS CH-R 18s in the winter. The paint looks like it handles the winter surprisingly well.

Let's see some pics of your Edition1! Coupe or sedan?
