Observing Weistec Catch-Can after 1,000 miles.
I just removed the Weistec Oil-aire seperator from the SL63. This how much oil is caught after 1000 miles. That oil that was gathered by this piece could have enterd the Intake Manifold and reduced the fuel octange and thus would result in loss of power. Thanks to the oil-air seperator from Wesitec, all that can be prevented.

Ive got similar results with a catchcan on my previous Audi S5. There was a lot of carbon build-up on my intake valves, cleaned them and installed a catchcan directly after. With the direct injection on the RS4 people lost up to 50bhp due to carbon build-up. My S5 gained almost 20bhp after the cleanup
Couldnt find much pictures but here are 2 http://www.audizine.com/gallery/data/500/IMG_7931.JPG http://www.audizine.com/gallery/data/500/IMG_7951.JPG |
