Blue C63 BS

with all the special color and options whats was the cost of your vehicle if you don't mind me asking
This board is pretty outdated anyway. I wonder if the admins would accept a free new custom made skin for the forum and take the opportunity to upgrade vB to the latest version. I can have my team work on that for no fee. I love MBWorld.
Sorry for the off-topic.
OP, the more I look back at this thread, the more unique I think your car looks...for any MB. I'm sure the 10 month wait was well worth the final product. It's all about personal taste and I think you got yours to the tee.
The Best of Mercedes & AMG
For me, being an "Audi-guy" in the past, my plan was to buy an RS5. Almost all my Audi's was blue ( Nogaro Blue ) and the RS5 would have been the same,
When the C Coupe got out last year, it got my attention. Short after the C63 Coupe got presented, the rumors started about a coming Black Series. Knowing that this means better looks, more power and limited numbers, that got really my attention. During this period i got invited from the MB-salesman to an AMG-weekend who got hold close to my house. The moment the three 6.3 and three 5.5TT
engines from the event-cars got started ... i was infected with the AMG-Virus.

here are some answers :
PerfidiousGTO:
This color is French Racing Blue. I ordered the version Jaguar is using for their XKR-S.
vdubpower:
You're right, the rear-seats are for my two little boys
GMW:
The world is small
. Unfortunately i was not able to pick it up in Affalterbach, still working overseas , she got transfered to my MB-dealer.AMG asked my permission to do a photo-shoot for the Privat-lounge,
so may soon we can see better pictures there
ZorroAMG:
I had the blue stitching in mind and yes its possible, costs are around 2000$.
But i like the contrast from blue and red, thats why i left it.
c63addix:
The car starts with 115000€ in Germany. My BS has all options except: AP( dont like the wing ), TP(prefer the normal tires for daily use ) and Keyless go ( I'm old school ). This makes 140000€ + 10000€ for the Color and Performance-center extras.
jtrichel:
Porsche calls it Pure-blue and its very simillar
Fung63:
I'm thinking about it ...

But I'm sure it's well worth every penny for you.
At least in the Porsche world, what you see is that later down the road, these funky colors - the taffy colors - bright blues, greens, orange, etc. are highly desireable for a fun-only weekend car. People seek them out, they are hard to find, and command a huge premium.
Like this $120,000 sale on a 15 yr old Porsche....

The car got painted in Bremen on the normal production line.
After that it got transfered to Affalterbach to get all the leather-jobs done.

What leather work did they do in Affalterbach? To me, the interior looks the same as a normal Black Series.
Actually that's a pretty good price. In the US you can't order any custom colors off the factory line. If we got an AMG Performance Studio repaint it would cost approximately $18,000USD.

like I wanna have sex with the car
