Anybody got carbon fiber seatback covers?

They look cool as hell in pics on revozport website but not sure if they look cheap, plasticky or cheesy in person.

Does anybody have them installed on the seatbacks?

Any pics to share?

I got mine from Boca.. lot cheaper but fitment is ok. I get tons of compliments for them.

Roswell, what is that on your little shade/mirror thing? Is it a carbon fiber sticker with an AMG logo on top of it? Do you have any more pictures of that?

I also see that you've got a garage opener clipped on there...did you not set up the homelink attached to the rearview mirror so you wouldn't have to have that there?

Lol roswell car is sick. I don't understand how he only drives it on week-ends lol

cptdaz 10-04-2012 10:42 AM

I love carbon fiber as much as the next guy but personally I think the seat cover is a little too much. The interior is suppose to be accented with carbon fiber not completely covered by it. To each his own I guess.

This!!! I have had my car for 1 year and put 30000kms on it! I think rosewell has much less :nix:

Hi SheryarYO, you have very good eyes my friend.. LOL !! Yes, I hated the seatbelt stickers warning, so I covered it with some CF Di-Noc vinyl & stick the AMG emblems there that I received from my wife as a gift from Thailand... 5$ mods... verrrryyyyy cheap! LOL

As for the garage opener, I never succeed programming it on the built in remote so I gave up long ago.

Here are more pics of the visor. I know my car looks like a Xmas tree now, but it's unique. LOL

Thx guys for the compliments... it's hard to find time to drive the car when I work 6 days a week, 12 hours a day. Plus I dont drive my car to work either... and I live 5 km from work.. LOL

SheryarYO 10-04-2012 10:59 AM

pretty creative man. i almost gave up on the garage opener too, but finally got it to work eventually.

rage2 10-04-2012 11:15 AM

I don't think you have enough AMG logos in the car there Roswell... :p:

Roswell 10-04-2012 11:20 AM

^^ stop picking on my xmas tree rage!! LOL Well, long story short... I asked my wife for a pair of AMG emblem from Bangkok for the visor... she ended up buying 3-4 sets with an AMG bunny... dont ask me where I put the bunny. LOL

hahaha.

Next time I'm out east, I'm coming over and programming that Homelink for you. That's a liftmaster remote, I have the same one, and it can definately work with Homelink. That'll free up some room for the AMG bunny! :)

Or maybe, I'll make a step by step video for you. Seriously tho, those remotes are a pet peeve for me. Anyone can steal it and break into your house easily.

It's okay, you don't have to lie. We all know that you spend 60 hours a week pimping out your car, which only leaves time on the weekend to drive it. I get it :p:

Roswell 10-04-2012 12:23 PM

You guys are funny.. Lol!

Cptdaz, it actually does lol! Well, Chinese good luck charm.

Rage, I'll treat u for dim sum if u come over. Lol

CoolPh, yeah I spend lots of time pimpin my ride less on the road cuz I'm afraid all my emblems will fall off. Lol

Btw, let's not derail from OP topics *cough* lol

SaphGreyC63 10-04-2012 12:51 PM

Roswell if you don't mind posting it here or sending a PM, just wondering how much those seat backs cost?

Very nice mod.

Roswell 10-04-2012 12:54 PM

Merc-Skycap 10-04-2012 04:57 PM

enfox 10-04-2012 05:48 PM

Deal. But please program your homelink. I just redid mine from scratch so I can make this awesome video for you to follow haha.

http://youtu.be/u3ckoah3Nlw

Let me know how it goes!

CoolBDPhenom03 10-04-2012 07:44 PM

Dude, does anyone know how to program it with a rolling code? I can't get any response from my HOA to program my homelink to the condo garage.

rufferto 10-04-2012 07:58 PM

when you program it with a rolling code, the light on the rear view mirror doesn't blink like its suppose to when it learns the clickers code(per the manual). just hit the learn button on the garage opener while pressing the homelink button after its learned the code and it should work.

and Roswell, i want to see the AMG bunny :p

CoolBDPhenom03 10-04-2012 08:01 PM

Thanks, I'll try it again. How long should it take to learn the signal?
