The new GoPro 3 has officially been released and there have been many changes to the cameras. Most easily identifiable is the size difference. the new GoPro has much smaller dimensions than the old unit. All accessories that are related to the size of the unit have changed. All mounting accessories remain the same.

We are now selling 3 different GoPros, a white edition, a black edition and a silver edition.

WHITE EDITION-PRICE IS $199.00
This is the most basic of the cameras and is the cheapest of all three. It uses a 5MP camera with a 3 fps burst and it films in HD at 30 FPS. It also has built in WiFi.

The black edition is the bad ass of all action sports camera. It can shoot videos at 4 steps greater than 1080p. It can shoot at 4k/15 which is an unbelievable number in any camera that is less than $5000.00. It comes with built in WiFi and a WiFi remote. If you like slow motion videos you will be amazed with the capability of the GoPro black edition to film up to 240 fps!!!!!!

When do the cameras / mounts actually ship?

Next week we start shipping the Silver Editions and the White Editions. We do not start shipping black editions until the end of next month.

Is shipping free, and are you charging sales tax? I'm looking at getting the black edition.

I don't live far from Torrance so technically I can go pick it up.

The black series cameras will not be available till sometime later in November. for now we have just received the White and Silver editions.

Does the fact that Hero3 have built-in wi-fi means that it will be fully compatible with the GoPro app? I want to be able to stream the video to my phone in real time so I can essentially use it as my rear view mirror on the bike.

Yes, it does work with the app.

GOPRO 3 silver editions just finally arrived today. We were expecting them on October 21st but we just received them now. I have very limited inventory so they are on a first come first serve basis.

We have to wait until they get released. I can take an order for one but I have to wait for GoPro to release them first and then I can send you one the first day that it is available. I do not know exactly what day that will be though. Gopro is swamped right now with the new stuff.
